The Springboks and the Rugby World Cup.

“Hier Kom Die Bokke”

“Hier Kom Die Bokke”

Here Come the Springboks.

Right up front, I admit to being a massive Springbok supporter and
am wearing my “Bok” jersey as I write this.

8pm, Local South African time sees the opening ceremony of the 2015
Rugby World Cup in England. Followed at 9pm with the opening game
– England versus Fiji.

“There is nothing prouder than to pull on the Bok jersey”

Tomorrow evening (19/09/15) at 5:45Pm (SA time) will find me behind
my radio and TV listening with great excitement, to our Springboks
playing against Japan in the first round of the pool games in
Brighton.

My sports programs are telling me that barring Duane Vermeulen, all
31 players selected are fit for the first game and the rest of the
competition and good and raring to go.

“It was remarkable to see the brilliant attitude of the players.
They really worked incredibly hard in the last two months and I’m
very pleased to say that our general fitness levels have improved
considerably.” Heyneke Meyer.

Springboks versus Samoa 26/09/15

Springboks versus Scotland 03/10/15

Springboks versus USA 07/10/15

After those pool games, the competition goes into the quarter and
Semi finals, which are knockout games. After-which, the winner of
the Web Elliss Trophy and the 2015 Rugby World Championship will be
revealed after the final whistle in the final game.

My blood is Green and Gold!

With some luck, and better refereeing than happened in 2011, I
firmly believe our Springboks can be the World Champions for the
3rd time.

I wish the Springboks all the best and while I obviously hope they
win, they must have fun and enjoy the competition as well.
